Random picker
Paste a list and pick winners fairly.
- Runs in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded

How it works
Picking a name out of a list decides giveaways, raffles, who goes first and who does the washing up. If anything of value depends on it, the draw should be one nobody can predict or reproduce — including whoever runs it.
A fair draw
Picks come from the browser's cryptographic random source, and the range mapping discards values that would make some entries very slightly more likely than others. Every item has an equal chance, and a previous draw tells you nothing about the next.
One at a time or several
Pick a single winner, or several at once. With repeats off, each entry can be drawn only once — which is what a raffle with distinct prizes needs. With repeats on, the same entry can come up again.
Preparing the list
One entry per line. Blank lines are ignored and surrounding spaces are trimmed, so a list pasted out of a spreadsheet works without cleaning it up first. Duplicate entries count twice, which is how weighted entries are usually done.
Nothing is recorded
The list and the result exist only in your browser. Nobody else can see the entrants or the outcome, and the draw cannot be reproduced afterwards — so take a screenshot if you need to show it was done.
Random picker — questions
Is the draw genuinely fair?
Yes. It uses the browser's cryptographic random source, with the bias that naive range mapping introduces removed.
Can someone enter twice?
Yes, if they appear on two lines. That is the usual way to weight a draw.
Is my list uploaded?
No. Everything stays in your browser, so nobody else can see the entrants or the result.
