About pdf conversion
PDFs are the format people are most cautious about, because they tend to hold contracts, invoices, medical letters and identity documents. That is exactly why this converter never transmits them: the document is read into memory, processed, and handed back.
Images into a document
Photos and scans become one PDF with a page per image, sized to the image so nothing is cropped. This is the usual route for receipts, ID scans and homework. It is not OCR — text photographed on a page stays a picture and will not be searchable.
Pages back out as pictures
Each page is rendered exactly as it appears on screen, at up to twice nominal size for sharpness. PNG suits pages of text and diagrams; JPG suits pages that are mostly photographs. A multi-page document comes back as a ZIP with one numbered image per page.
Where the limits are
Documents up to 100 pages are handled at a time, and each page is rendered within a bounded pixel budget so an oversized page cannot exhaust memory. Split anything longer first.
